“Education is research” aims to answer an important need in the field of education with regard to live performance, trying to establish a practical – theoretical reflection that would be able to overcome the dichotomy between workshop / research and production / act.
Conclusive event of PerformAZIONI International Workshop Festival, annual appointment in the context of higher education in the field of performing arts at international level.

10.30 – 11.30 AM Education in universities Will participate: Professor Gerardo Guccini, from the University of Bologna and Professor Paul Allain, from the University of Kent (UK).

3.30 – 6.00 PM The experience of theatre companies: towards an higher education’s network in performing arts. Will participate: Teatro Akropolis, Teatro del Lemming, TeatrO dell’Orsa, LENZ Fondazione Afterwards: Networking between companies and realities that joined the meeting: Teatro Delle Ariette; Leggere Strutture; LabPerm sull’Arte dell’Attore; Il Lavoratorio

6.30 – 7.30 PM Straub method. Demonstration of work by Dario Marconcini and Giovanna Daddi The actors will show the training experience had with Jean-Marie Straub on word and phonation.
7.30 PM APERITIF
8.30 PM Screening of the film “Le Streghe” (The Witches) by Jean-Marie Straub & Danièle Huillet. Introduction by Simona Frigerio, Dario Marconcini and Giovanna Daddi.
